The Miami Heat’s core may be bigger than just three players, but these are the three with the most promising projections.

In extended conversations throughout the past few weeks, Miami Heat President Pat Riley has spoken about the “young core” of the Miami Heat.

Although Riley was excited to include quite a few in that core group, there are 3 core guys (shout out to Kelly Olynyk though), that gets Heat Nation more excited than any others. Needless to say, these guys are Justise Winslow, Josh Richardson, and Bam Adebayo.

Winslow has slotted in as the lead guard this season, leading to a blossoming in not only his overall game but also a blossoming of sorts for the future of this organization.

Richardson has continued to take steps toward the path of a potential two-way star in this league, showing great strides to becoming more than just your typical “3-and-D” guy.

Adebayo has not only seemingly taken over the starting job, but is also making leaps to hopefully becoming a dominant force in this league.

In light of all the revelations and progressions, however, just what is the ceiling for this core? That is yet to be fully determined.

Based on this season, what can be confidently estimated are the individual ceilings and floors for these core three players.
