Wade put on a show, scoring 10 points in the stanza as he was the catalyst for a 32-15 four quarter edge for the Heat. He ended the game +19, best on the team, finished with 17 points on 6-of-14 shooting (including 2-of-2 from long range, eight rebounds and two assists in 28 minutes, and he provided us with this gem of a Eurostep below.
While the story on Dwyane Wade’s final season is yet to be written, he may have put the nail in the coffin of an old rival in the form of the Charlotte Hornets’ season.
The Hornets will now drop two full games behind the Miami Heat for the eighth seed, and the Heat have a game and a half lead over the Orlando Magic, with the Magic yet to play Sunday night.
The Heat aren’t a lock to make the playoffs, but the Hornets are now the longest of shots to get in.
