Picks 3-1

R.J. Barrett is a bull in a china shop in the open floor and the half court as well if he can build up the steam. His ceiling is very high, but he will only be able to blow through it if he continues to develop his jump shot. He is a very physical driver who seems to do well through contact, but does have the ability to counter if the initial driving lane closes. Played a lot of lead guard at Duke but will probably be a 2 or 3 man in the NBA, and should be an interesting pairing with Dennis Smith Jr.. Forward. Knicks. R.J. Barrett. 3. player. 27

player. 211. Ja Morant is the total guard package in this draft, and a big reason why the peak of this draft is found in the top two spots. He averaged 24.5 points, 10 assists and 5.7 rebounds last season, just incredible production out of the backcourt. The Memphis Grizzlies are set to go all-in on building around Morant as they look to move on from Mike Conley and make him their point guard of the future.. Guard. Grizzlies. Ja Morant. 2

Next. How the Miami Heat could trade for Chris Paul and P.J. Tucker. dark

1. player. 69. And now we come to the main event, Zion Williamson. A generational (perhaps historic) athlete, Williamson is an incredible physical force to be reckoned with. He averaged 30.1 points, 11.8 rebounds and a combined 5.2 blocks and steals per 40 minutes in his freshman season at Duke and was a man among boys every time he was on the floor. There are concerns that his playing weight will need to come down before playing in the NBA simply to make his explosiveness more manageable over an 82 game schedule, but once he’s working with an NBA staff in New Orleans this should be easy enough.. Forward. Pelicans. Zion Williamson
