Isaiah Thomas

Who would have thought that Isaiah Thomas, who was once a top 5 candidate for MVP would end up being on this list?

It has been two years and three different teams since we saw Thomas putting up almost 30 points per game while showcasing his talents a day after his sister died.

After battling with major injuries, major setbacks and two seasons of being underappreciated, Thomas is heading into free agency hopefully with the mindset of bouncing back. What better team to bounce back on than the Miami Heat.

The Heat have one actual point guard in Goran Dragic and Justise Winslow who became the starting point guard when Dragic went down. There is a chance that Dragic could be involved in a trade leaving the team with one player at the point guard position.

Thomas would fit the role perfectly. Even if people want to say the season with the Celtics was an anomaly, then that is fine. Before being traded to Boston, Thomas posted great numbers coming off the bench in his first four seasons.

Although this is Thomas post-injuries, the Heat have their way when it comes to top quality management.

Thomas would be the spark that the Heat would love to have coming off the bench. He may not provide defense, but his scoring ability would be much-needed.
