Duncan Robinson

He ended the game with seventeen points, five rebounds, and four assists while shooting 5-for-8 from the field and 4-for-4 in a category the Miami Heat desperately need to improve in from the past few seasons, FREE THROWS. Robinson accounted for three of the teams fifteen total made threes and only missed two.

He seemed to be doing whatever he wanted on the court, but that’s what you expect out of a 2nd year Summer League player with NBA experience. The team very much ran through him to start the game with ten points in eight minutes and even a moment where he pushed the ball on the fast break and looked off an open Herro on the wing and drove the lane to get his own bucket in the second quarter.

His highlight of the night came in the third quarter when he left his defender in the dust on the right wing after taking a screen towards the corner. In what looked like one smooth motion, he came off that screen clearly headed towards the corner but changed direction and set his eyes on the rim. The weak side defender came late, and Robinson hit him with a smooth double-clutch reverse layup with the left hand.
