Former Miami Heat big man and champion Shaquille O’Neal is a huge guy in general, but he is just as huge a music guy. Check out his latest shenanigans.

Many of us should know by now, former Miami Heat big man and champion Shaquille O’Neal is a character, and that is meant in the most endearing way possible. From his funny quips with Charles Barkley, Kenny Smith, and Ernie Johnson on their hit NBA pre and post-game show, NBA on TNTto his comical and memorable showings in the many commercials he does for the likes of brands such as Gold Bond, Icy Hot, or The General auto insurance, Shaq is a man of many talents.

What many of us should also know is that he is a huge music guy, in all senses of the word. Not only is Shaq a rapper, but he is also a DJ. He goes by the moniker DJ Diesel, a musical record spinning ambiguation of one of his already famous nicknames.

Not only does he like to spin records for his own enjoyment though, he also likes to spin them for others, in front of apparently massive crowds. According to his very own DJ Diesel Instagram account, Shaq had the privilege of spinning in front of huge crowds at the Tomorrowland Music Festival in Belgium. According to a Vulture.com piece, Shaq spent over an hour making the Belgian based crowd move to his music.

On top of spinning his own music, apparently, Shaq is a big fan of the music of others. Here is another clip from the Instagram account of Stereogum, where the big man is shown breaking his neck to some heavy base from another set at the festival. Get this, the seven-foot big man is in the very front row!

In the NBA, Shaq was the man. On television, Shaq is also the man.
