Find his ideal fit

Justise Winslow is an enigma in some ways when it comes to finding his perfect fit with this Miami Heat roster. He was a wing who played point guard who may have been better off the ball than on it, potential aside.

Winslow was inefficient at scoring himself, but he set up his teammates well. He has also developed into a dangerous catch-and-shoot threat, scoring 1.271 PPP in those opportunities. He was deadly in unguarded catch-and-shoot possessions, scoring 180 points in 120 opportunities, playing him in the 95th percentile.

He does many things well, and some things poorly, but the overall body of work is strong. On a team with Jimmy Butler and Goran Dragic, it may be difficult to find the ideal spot for a player like Justise Winslow, but on the plus side it’s not because he can’t fit.

Winslow does have an element of a jack-of-all-trades to him, pretty good at just about everything but especially proficient at not a whole lot. It’s not a bad thing, especially at his young age of just 23 years old.

Miami Heat head coach Erik Spoelstra will have to come up with a plan to incorporate Justise Winslow ideally, and it will be incumbent on Winslow to execute that plan.
