Play In At Least 75 Games

In this era that is the Load Management Era of the NBA, some will call this a bit nitpicky. While it may be, if the Miami Heat want a legit shot to compete for an Eastern Conference title this season, they must have their best players on the floor for as many games as possible.

Dragic definitely falls into the category of being one of their best players. This isn’t just a random reach though, the “75” is based on something really tangible.

Across his previous 11 years in the league, he has only played 75 games in a season five times, with only one of those seasons coming with the Heat. Albeit 75 games on the dot during the 2017-2018 season, he played in at least that many.

While he has never played an entire 82 games during a season, only hitting 80 once, who really does anymore? As we all know, what everyone and every other team is doing doesn’t compare or have an impact on the Miami Heat’s standards, so it is quintessential to have him on the floor as much as he can be there.

If the Miami Heat hope to maximize their opportunities this season, he must be there for his team as much as he can. That is why playing in at least 75 games this season is The Dragon’s second goal.
