Norris Cole
Another two time champion with the Miami Heat, Norris Cole is another viable option that could be looked at here. Although he has always been more the scoring combo guard type than the pure point guard type, he too could help with the depth of the point guard position for this Miami Heat team.
Drafted with the 28th pick of the 2011 NBA Draft out of Cleveland State University, Cole has always been a very feisty and effective defender despite his diminutive size. At the very least, he could offer the Miami Heat another option to defensively pester opposing point guards while someone else did the bulk of the ball-handling on offense.
After leaving the Miami Heat, NoCo spent time with the New Orleans Pelicans and the Oklahoma City Thunder. Although he averaged over 10 points per game during two seasons in New Orleans, he couldn’t find a way to stick.
He only played a total of 13 games as a member of the Oklahoma City Thunder, as he unfortunately never made it past a second 10-day contract with the team. This was in the 2016-17 season. This was also the last season that he played in the NBA.
Cole last played for Budućnost Podgorica of the ABA, or first division of the Adriatic League and Euroleague. While he would probably only be a rotational player for the current Miami Heat, he could still help with the depth as well.
