Miami Heat: The best lob that Dwyane Wade ever threw?
Miami Heat legend Dwyane Wade says that a particular Olympic lob might be the best he’s ever thrown. Tough, as he has thrown quite a few memorable ones.
Miami Heat legend Dwyane Wade was just that on the court, a walking talking legend, but his social media game isn’t too shabby either. Whether detailing some of his family’s daily exploits or showing support for something that means a lot to him, he is quite the avid poster when it comes to social media.
Earlier this week, we detailed his experience with the new Popeyes’ chicken sandwich, a video that showed him and wife Gabrielle Union enjoying the filets. There is something else of amazement on his timeline though. He thinks this might be the best lob he has ever thrown.

This was the lob between him and Kobe Bryant during the 2008 Olympics in Beijing, China. If you don’t believe me, here is the man himself pondering upon the same thing.
It would be hard to argue against this particular play, a play that saw one of the greatest two-guards in NBA history throw a lob to another one of the greatest two-guards in NBA history. Throw in the fact they are both top four at their position in NBA history, it occurred on one of the biggest stages of basketball being the Olympics, and that it was a simultaneous action where Flash darted to save the ball before going out of bounds, and you have all the makings of an iconic play.
Again, while it would be hard to argue the judgment from the man himself, there can be a case made for another one of many from one all-time great to another. This would be one of the many memorable lobs thrown by Dwyane Wade to LeBron James.
Personally, the full court lobs between the two were among the most impressive. Although, watching that video provides quite a few memorable alley-oops from Wade to James. Well, that wasn’t helpful because now there are quite a few more to choose from.
We can settle on this, it was one of the greatest lobs he ever threw because some of his to LeBron were just unbelievable. What do you think? Either way though, you can’t go wrong.
