XV. Chris Paul scenario

After missing out on Russell Westbrook, but before pursuing a deal to land Bradley Beal, the Miami Heat may have had their eyes on Chris Paul. We aren’t sure here though, as there was never any solid mention of it, one way or another.

Most thoughts came in the form of speculation or theory. Many of these theories surrounded the fact that after considering where the Oklahoma City Thunder were in terms of being a rebuilding franchise, they would either be looking for too much in return or wouldn’t be willing to give up something to the team that was willing to take on Paul’s behemoth of a deal.

Pat Riley is one of the brightest bulbs on the tree and thankfully, he wasn’t about to take on that deal while actually giving up an asset along the way. With all of the previous thoughts in mind though, here is everything on CP3.
