3. Tyler Herro’s shooting struggles continue…

Herro already has the support of the Heat Nation that he will need to succeed in Miami. It goes without saying, but rookies tend to struggle early on in their pro careers, and Herro is no different.

Although the 19-year-old hailing from Greenfield, Wisconsin doesn’t lack confidence in his shooting ability, the rook hasn’t been able to convert that insane confidence into on-court production thus far. In the first two games of his career, Herro is shooting just 40 percent (12-30 FG) from the floor and 30 percent from behind the arc.

Alright, no more Herro slander from us at AUCH! The rook can ball!

Herro has still proven to remain effective despite his shooting woes, averaging 14 points per game and pulling down 13 total rebounds in two games. Herro’s game has areas where it needs growth, but the rookie has demonstrated the ability to stay on an NBA floor early on in his career.

Next. Miami Heat: Here's something to consider with Chris Silva. dark

With Jimmy Butler slated to make his Heat debut on Tuesday versus the Atlanta Hawks, don’t be surprised if Herro’s minutes take a slight decline. Perhaps he has been asked to tackle too many minutes at these exact moments with them being his literal first NBA games, but that will be settled and sorted on Tuesday. Either way, he is playing well enough and so is the team.
