The Miami Heat will face the Minnesota Timberwolves on Sunday on the second leg of a back to back. Here’s everything you need to know about the game.

After one heck of a win on Saturday evening against one of the Eastern Conference favorites in the Milwaukee Bucks, a team that also plays host to the reigning league MVP, the Miami Heat are right back at it on Sunday against the Minnesota Timberwolves.

As they will still be without quite a few members of the team in Dion Waiters, James Johnson, and Jimmy Butler, it will take another massive team effort to get a win here. After such a grueling and deep comeback on Saturday, will the Miami Heat have enough to get it done on the very next day?

They should, as they not only have youth on their side, but they also have plenty of firepower offensively to boot. Defense and intensity are the principles in which the Miami Heat foundational culture is built, so no matter the circumstances, they will always be raring to go on that end.

On Saturday, not only was it a group effort on the behalf of the Miami Heat team, but it was one that showed true character, grit, and will. It was a huge victory for this team, no matter how early it is in the season.

This win saw a complete effort from across the board, with seven Miami Heat players scoring in double digits, and all but one player who played in the game score at least eight points. Goran Dragic led the Heat with 25 points off the bench, tossing in four rebounds and five assists as well.

Bam Adebayo had a stretch of huge free throws to close the game, adding to his finite totals of 19 points, 13 rebounds, and eight assists. Kendrick Nunn continued his stellar start to the season with 18 points, four rebounds, and five assists.

The rest of the team played really well also, I mean, they came back from 21 down in the game so they must’ve. Here is what you need to know about Sunday’s game.
