The Miami Heat beat the Atlanta Hawks in the first of a home and home set on Tuesday. Can they get it done again on Thursday against a Trae Young-less team?

The Miami Heat will face the Atlanta Hawks in Atlanta on Thursday. This will be the second consecutive game between the two teams across three days, with the first game occurring on Tuesday as apart of this home and home set between the two.

The Atlanta Hawks will be without Trae Young, who injured his ankle in the first game on Tuesday, but who could reportedly be back by next week. Although the Miami Heat reinstated Dion Waiters, he won’t travel with the team, along with Derrick Jones Jr. and KZ Okpala. James Johnson will travel with the team to Atlanta though, possibly making his first appearance of the season after being away from the team due to conditioning issues.

The Heat head into this game fresh off a double-digit win against this very same team in what was Jimmy Butler‘s debut. They beat the Hawks by a score of 112-97. They should have no problem doing it again on Thursday against an Atlanta team missing their best player and one of the best players in the league, even on their home floor.
