The Miami Heat are back in familiar territory as they get set for a four-game home stretch. The first visitor is a familiar one too, the Washington Wizards.

The Miami Heat are fresh off a tough, three-game, in conference road trip that most would classify as a successful one. Although it wasn’t flawless, losing to the Boston Celtics on Wednesday night in TD Garden on the second night of a back to back set and on the Heat’s third game in four days, they were able to break up the Raptors’ undefeated home record while previously handling the Nets in Brooklyn on Sunday.

The Boston Celtics game looked like a classic case of it being a scheduled loss due to scheduling reasons, with the Heat starting off on a tear before fatigue looked to set in from the previous three days of action, but this game on Friday should be an entirely different story. They are facing a very familiar divisional rival(although divisions are pointless at this juncture), off of a much needed day of rest, and a day after the Wizards not only played a game but knocked off the 76ers.

Not that Jimmy Butler or Erik Spoelstra would let this team look past any competitor coming into South Beach to steal a game, but with the Wizards taking down Philly on the previous night, the Heat’s antennae will surely be up and on alert for this one. The Wizards can flat out shoot and score the ball when they get going, but they give up a ton of points as well.

We will be eager to see if the Miami Heat can come out and dominate, as the competition and their circumstance of being on the second night of a back to back set should dictate. Here is everything else you need to know about Friday’s game.
