Miami Heat vs Memphis Grizzlies: Preview, Watch/Listen, Odds
The Miami Heat are back at it again on Monday against the Memphis Grizzlies in Memphis. Can the Heat keep the electric rookie Ja Morant from exploding?
The Miami Heat head into Monday’s matchup with the Memphis Grizzlies knowing what they are up against. Although the teams have surely changed since they last saw each other, either evolving, regressing, or remaining stagnant, they did face each other to open the season. Before we get into the future though, let’s back up into the past and look back at Saturday night’s victory.
The Miami Heat got a win on the second night of a back to back set for the first time this season against the Dallas Mavericks. Although you hope he has a speedy recovery and you wish he was in the game to even further solidify the validity of the win, speaking on Luka Doncic leaving the game early after rolling his ankle, a win is a win and especially when accomplishing something you haven’t been able to accomplish thus far in a season as discussed earlier.
As we move into Monday night’s game, the Miami Heat should come away with the win here. They will want to keep Ja Morant out of the paint as much as possible, while also making sure to get a body on Jonas Valančiūnas, because he can and will hurt you in the paint.
For the most part though, they don’t have a ton of shooting, but they do like to get up and down when the can. Here is everything else you need to know about the game.
