The Miami Heat will welcome in the Portland Trail Blazers on Sunday evening. Can the Heat spoil the revenge game hopes of the former number 21 for Miami?

The Miami Heat will come into Sunday’s game with quite a few things on their minds. The first will be their last game, a game that saw the Orlando Magic manhandle them, although it was on the second night of a back to back set.

They let the Orlando Magic out-physical them on the court, while also allowing them to make a ton of back-breaking shots from deep. If the Miami Heat want to be all that they can be this season, they must come with that hardnosed defensive and physical attitude that Miami Heat basketball is known for every single night and even when the conditions aren’t in their favor, such as they were in Orlando on Friday.

The next thing that should be on their mind is one person in particular that will be on the other side on Sunday. He who is not to be named here, the former number 21 of the Miami Heat, will make his return appearance in Miami on Sunday. While the Miami Heat will surely just play their game, the fact that he is on the other team will be noticed and accounted for.

With the former number 21 returning for the first time, this means that this is the first time that Meyers Leonard will face off against his former team. It’ll be interesting to watch if he tries to have himself a game or if Coach Spo looks to get him going early.

Lastly and while we are still on impending returns, Justise Winslow is listed as questionable for Sunday’s contest after an extended absence recently. It would be amazing to get him back on the court and in the swing of things, as we can surely use his ball-handling, distributing, defense, and simply someone to take some of the pressure off of jimmy Butler, as he has been exhausting himself it seems as of late. Here is everything else you need to know about this game.
