Can the Miami Heat close the weekend with a trio of victories?
The Miami Heat have traveled to San Antonio, where they’ll face the Spurs again Sunday. After beating them on Wednesday, will Sunday’s results be the same?
The Miami Heat will travel to the AT&T Center in San Antonio on Sunday for a matinee matchup with Pop and the crew. This will be the second slice of sandwich games that saw the Miami Heat defeat the Spurs on last Wednesday in Miami, before knocking off the Thunder on Friday in Oklahoma City, before then traveling to San Antonio themselves for a quick turnaround rematch against the black and silver team from Texas.
The last contest was an eventful one. It was Bam Adebayo‘s first opportunity to face off against San Antonio Spurs head coach, head coach of the U.S. National Team, and the guy that essentially cut him from that team in Coach Gregg Popovich.
On the incident, Pop basically said that Adebayo wasn’t the same guy then, in camp, as he has been all season for his Miami Heat team. We essentially agreed with that notion, or at least understood it, as that has been a huge issue of ours at times with Bam as well. His problem is that he can do so much, that oftentimes he chooses to do the thing that is the best team play, where he could probably stand to be a bit more selfish at times.
In any event, Sunday’s contest should be an exciting one. You know this Spurs team has pride, as they are San Antonio and that’s just what they do. You also know that they will be looking for payback after being beaten in Miami on last Wednesday, but here is everything else you need to know about this game.
