The Miami Heat welcome in one of the best teams in the NBA on Friday in the L.A. Clippers. Even without PG13, they have managed to elevate to elite status.

The Miami Heat have a daunting task ahead of them. After struggling to beat the lowly Washington Wizards in their last contest, one would think that they are just waiting to be beaten in their next contest against one of the league’s very best teams. That isn’t necessarily the case though, as the Miami Heat and the Wizards play each other a ton and thus oftentimes resulting in close and tightly contested matchups.

Things will be different on Friday though. The Miami Heat know who they have coming into their building, one of the best teams in the league that also just so happens to be the resident home of the reigning NBA Finals MVP, the best player on last year’s championship-winning team, and one of the best players in the entire league. You also would like to believe that both Bam Adebayo and Jimmy Butler come out with a certain extra mmph on Friday after they found out that they were snubbed on Thursday as All-Star starters.

Something else of note for the Clippers is the fact that they have managed to elevate themselves to this particular position of eliteness, without the services of Paul George, who has been shelved with an injury for a good part of the season. Whether it be Paul George, George Strait, or George of the Jungle, it doesn’t matter because the Miami Heat will surely be ready when this one tips off. Here is everything else you need to know about this game.
