The Miami Heat have had a pretty good season thus far and with success comes rumors. Here is an assessment of said rumors, when it comes to trades at least.

The Miami Heat are in the thick of contention, even though it’s still a bit early in the season. With two All-Star level performers in tow (although neither was rightfully voted in as a starter and although the one has to depend on the coaches vote to do the right thing), they are in a position that no one could have foreseen before the season started. By no one, we definitely mean us, every expert, and every fan out there.

In any situation, it is what it is and the Miami Heat are looking like surefire title contenders who should definitely make a ton of noise in the Eastern Conference. Like in any walk of life, the more success one or an entity has, the more chatter or noise that will start to bubble up about said person or entity.

The NBA is no different, however, rumors take a different form when talking about professional sports. When thinking of that noise in relation to pro sports, it usually revolves around a team tinkering, moving certain players, or totally remaking the foundation of their teams. In the Miami Heat’s case, it definitely just means tinkering by adding a piece or two that the brass may think will definitely get them over the hump.

Three names have been linked to the Miami Heat more than any others. DeMar DeRozan and LaMarcus Aldridge of the San Antonio Spurs as well as Jrue Holiday of the New Orleans Pelicans have all been linked to the Miami Heat as potential destinations in a deal or two that may go down in the NBA. It is with that notion in mind that we ask … if we had to choose one of them above the others for this Heat team, which would it be?
