The last name is obviously the choice if you just had to choose one then, right? Right, and that player would be LaMarcus Aldridge.

Although LA hasn’t shown thus far this season to be what he once was, he has added a heavy dose of the three-point shot to his game. That is a huge part of why he is the choice here.

For Aldridge to be able to bring his scoring from all over the floor, his size, his rebounding, and his experience along with his long-range shooting, it would help this team tremendously without hurting them a bit on the floor. He could operate in the middle of the paint when Bam isn’t on the floor but has the shooting chops to still give Bam all that space when they are both on the floor together.

The Miami Heat have also found themselves killed on the glass at times this season as well, and Aldridge would certainly be a boost there. His experience could also help once the Heat began to make their playoff run as well.

While there may indeed be more names linked to the Heat as we progress through this portion of the season, these have been the ones more commonly linked thus far. This has also been why I think LaMarcus Aldridge would be the best choice right now … if you just had to choose one.
