The Miami Heat currently sit 2-1 over the 76ers in the 2019-20 season series. Can they win it outright on Monday night or will they finish the year with a split?

The Miami Heat got a huge win on Saturday night against their in-state and divisional rival Orlando Magic. Not only did this give the Heat the outright edge over their state neighbors, but it should have been a huge mental boost considering the battles that these two teams have annually, the fact that the Magic had seemingly had their number a bit in their first matchup, and because the Heat had just beaten them prior to Saturday less than a week before which sort of speaks towards proof of superiority more than occurrence.

They will have a chance to accomplish a similar feat on Monday. As they prepare to welcome the Philadelphia 76ers into the Miami Heat friendly confines of South Beach and American Airlines Arena, they currently sit up 2-1 in the season series over Philadelphia.

A win on Monday night would not only give them the win in said season series over Philly, but it would also act in the same way as the superiority phenomenon with Orlando. It could be used to try and prove that the Heat are just a better team overall when compared to Philadelphia and not just one that can be better in moments or in certain instances. Here is everything else you need to know about this game.
