The Miami Heat have been well represented throughout the All-Star weekend festivities already. Let’s take a closer look at their remaining representation.

The Miami Heat have had a pretty good season up and through the proverbial first half of the year (although the math actually says otherwise, but that’s for another time). With that fact in mind, it makes total sense that they have a pretty deep presence at the All-Star Weekend festivities in Chicago.

They had somewhat of a presence in the first event of the weekend, the NBA Celebrity Game, while Kendrick Nunn and Tyler Herro were both named to the USA side for the Rising Stars Challenge. That was just Friday night’s slate though and the very tip of the iceberg.

Saturday is when the real fireworks start to go off on NBA All-Star Weekend. This is the night when they put on the NBA Skills competition, the Three-Point Shootout, and the Slam Dunk Contest.

The Miami Heat also have a player in each event here as well, with Bam Adebayo stepping into the light of the NBA skills competition. Duncan Robinson will also attempt to shoot his way to a three-point competition title.

The night will culminate with Derrick Jones Jr. swooping in from Chicago Midway International on a layover, but just long enough to fly away with the Slam Contest title, avenging his defeat from a few years back.  With the preliminaries out of way, let’s take a closer look.
