The Miami Heat were hot on the trail of Bradley Beal this past summer and at the beginning of the season before he signed an extension. It’s still a possibility.

The Miami Heat were desperate to turn their fortunes around this past offseason and that meant doing whatever was necessary. Pat Riley got a major part of this done when he was able to finagle together a deal that saw the Miami Heat land Jimmy Butler in a sign and trade agreement with the Philadelphia 76ers.

That was not it though, as the rumors seemed to indicate that while at least one whale was a must get for the Miami Heat and Riley, he was still in on at least one more. While swings for Russell Westbrook fell through, with him eventually landing in Houston and probably a misguided disinterest in Chris Paul at the time due to a seeming decline and his massive contract (hindsight is definitely 20/20 and he is balling in Oklahoma City… we were all wrong there), the Miami Heat were seemingly heavily involved in trying bring over Bradley Beal from the Washington Wizards.

While it eventually proved to be unsuccessful, with the Wizards getting Beal locked into a deal that wouldn’t allow for him to be traded this season, that still doesn’t completely rule out a future move. So much so, that certain Miami Heat players have seemingly found it appropriate and timely to let their feelings for the sharpshooting yet smooth combo guard be known.

Most recently, Miami Heat big man playmaker extraordinaire Bam Adebayo dawned a Bradley Beal jersey following a contest betwixt Adebayo’s Heat and Beal’s Wiz this past Sunday. While Adebayo basically did everything to avoid being accused of tampering that he could have done, we all know what it really is. He can’t overtly acknowledge, say, or even hint at it, but we all can read between the tea leaves.

Here was a view of the scene, as acknowledged and appreciated by the man himself in Bradley Beal. While you can say about this what you will, there seems to be something real there and you better believe Heat players will try to get to the bottom of it. That’s not the only instance that leads you to believe that a Beal/Heat pairing is inevitable though.

If you take a look at two more incidents involving Beal’s usage of social media, it tends to paint the same picture. A few months back, after the now-infamous Jimmy Butler vs. T.J. Warren incident, Beal chimed in on the whole social media back and forth.

Although subtle, the fact that he commented on the post that he did says a ton. It was only the “eyes” and “popcorn” emojis, but it was pointed. Here’s the post.

If you are looking for more evidence, take this post from social media. It is full of innuendo and assumption, however, that goes out of the window when it is “liked” by the man in question.

We place so much emphasis on social media “likes” in today’s society, that if someone “likes” something, then they must agree with it, right? We sure are taking it this way.

Here’s what it all means. At some point in the near future, perhaps as soon as the beginning of next season after he is eligible to be moved based on the parameters of the extension he just signed, he will be traded to Miami.

It seems inevitable at this point. If you look at the constant reciprocal love between the main players from each squad, it seems like it’s just a matter of time. Heck, Beal told you himself that he’s interested via the social media like.

He is smart and patient though. Why wouldn’t he get the money that’s being offered? If he is patient, which he has shown to be, he could do both.

Next. No game until Wednesday? Tell that to the headlines.. dark

He seems to be doing exactly that, in that, he got his money and will eventually be moved to the team he wants to play with. So, we will advise you to just keep holding tight if you are a Beal to the Heat stan. It’s going to happen, sooner or later, just keep hanging on.
