The Miami Heat have managed to acquire some amazing talent through free agency over the years. Here are six of their best signings from the past 10 years.

The Miami Heat have come quite a bit ways in their short period of existence as an NBA franchise. Their list of alumni and former players alone speaks exactly towards that notion. From bringing in arguably the greatest player to ever touch the NBA hardwood to re-signing the greatest player the franchise has ever seen as apart of a combo deal of all combo deals, the Heat have done it.

While their all-time roster is something to shout about, their record of free-agent signings from just over the past decade is enough to make some NBA franchises green with envy. Well, perhaps we’ll do just that, as we present the Miami Heat’s top six free-agent signings from over the past decade.

The Summer of 2010 will go down as an all-time great free agency class. Obviously, everyone knows that summer to be the summer that the Big 3 was formed but Miami also got a very valuable role-player for their bench that summer in Mike Miller.

If we are being honest, Miller never got to be himself to the fullest extinct in Miami due to injury issues and/or not getting consistent playing time, which may have been factors that interacted with each other.  Still, he was a great guy to have in the locker room and his teammates seemed to love him.

Who could forget Game 5 of the 2012 NBA finals against the Oklahoma City Thunder? Miller went 7/8 from three to help put away Oklahoma City, also helping in a major way to capture the first of two Miami Heat Big 3 era titles.
