Miami Heat: Why is Dwyane Wade is playing musical chairs with his hair?
The Miami Heat’s greatest ever, Dwayne Wade, has made some bold moves from a fashion and “look” perspective. What’s the future Hall Of Famer up to now?
The Miami Heat have had quite a few icons wear their jerseys in their day. With these icons, came many iconic looks and styles.
A popular look in Miami, the bald head has always been a winner. Whether you look at the pristine shaven versions of Tim Hardaway or Alonzo Mourning, the smooth shiny dome of Shaquille O’Neal, or the new and upgraded version of a baldy, such as Shane Battier or Ray Allen during their time with the Miami Heat, it epitomizes the different versions of the bald head look.
While that is a more safe style or look for NBA players, there have been quite a few to walk the halls of American Airlines Arena that didn’t quite play it so safe. While not totally risque, Udonis Haslem, Brian Grant, and Josh Richardson to name a few, have all dawned the long hair, braided, or dreaded look in Miami Heat uniforms.
It doesn’t stop there though. When you take a look at players like Chris “Birdman” Andersen or Norris Cole, things then jump to another level.
I mean the mohawks and the classic box fade, to quite the height at a point for Cole, there have been some risks taken. None of them may go on to top this next one though.
Miami Heat legend Dwyane Wade has pulled off amazing things in all senses of the word, but especially a fashion sense. Is this another win for the HOFer?
We recently commentated on the greatest Miami Heat player of all time changing his hair color to… Sunset Vice pink, as it appeared in a recent Instagram video. It was then suddenly starting to become reported though that he was rocking a new blonde look.
This turned out to be true, but only for a while if you blinked because it turns out you may have missed it. Dwyane Wade has now changed his hair color again and if it provides a hint, to a color we are used to and love seeing him in.
Well, perhaps not in all cases. See for yourself.
Well, maybe his hair wasn’t pink or maybe it was, but one thing we know for certain is that his hair is now definitely red! Flash is going all-in on the risk-taking. It’s a vibe.
While we may not be into it ourselves, as far as wearing it on our heads, if he likes it then why not? Here’s the thing, when you are the greatest employee that your entire company anywhere has ever seen and one of the top 25 people to ever do the kind of work that you do, then you too can do as D.Wade does. That would be exactly anything that he wants to.
