The ‘Big 3 era’ Miami Heat were a sight to behold, believe me. LeBron James recently took to Twitter to share a similar sentiment.
The Miami Heat have been lucky enough to be responsible for some of the most iconic players in NBA history. While they weren’t totally responsible for all the players of the Big 3 era becoming the players that they were, they were at the forefront of that movement and the movement as a whole to usher in a superteam era to the NBA.
Looking back at the Miami Heat’s Big 3 era though, there was nothing like it. While there may have been teams with just as much star power on them as this Miami Heat team had, there has never been another team that had the brand recognition, name recognition, and media attention that this Miami Heat team got.
It truly was a unique situation, but not just for that reason. This collective of LeBron James, Chris Bosh, and the Miami Heat’s greatest player ever, Dwyane Wade, was a unique blend of talent, skill, athleticism, and championship will that not only went on to do just that, win titles, but they changed the way we look at what dominance in the NBA could be.
The Miami Heat’s ‘Big 3’ were a dominant bunch. LeBron James wants us to remember just how dominant they were though, in case we had forgotten.
In example of this dominance, look no further than the magical 27 game winning streak that the Big 3 era Miami Heat went on. In case you can’t remember it, LeBron James was reminiscing on that very occurrence earlier. Here’s a reminder.

As we all should know by now, as The King seems to know, that team was special. Like special.. special.
Not only was that team one of the best ever assembled, if only for the three best players, but that was absolutely the best LeBron James we will ever see. Hands down and no matter what you want to believe, that was peak Bron.
What a glorious time it was and we cherish those memories. This won’t stop us from rooting like madmen against The Chosen One if our favorite little professional basketball club faces off against his in a potential playoff run though. It’s a culture thing and believe us, he knows that too.
