The Miami Heat were whole and healthy in their latest victory over Indiana. It illustrates why they’re a tough out on any night for anyone.

The Miami Heat are a good team. Are we at the point where we are clearly ready to admit that?

While this may not sound like a revelation to some of you, the extent to which we are ready to go may be. This Miami Heat team, with as good as they are playing and as wide open as things seem in the NBA bubble, could go as so far as to actually win the title. Yea, you read it right, this Miami Heat team is a real contender.

To be fair, a few teams could scream that right now and not be looked at sideways. One reason has everything to do with the environment, while the other has everything to do with the Miami Heat themselves though. Let’s look a bit into it.

When you look at the environment, the bubble, they’ve done a lot to make it like a regular game atmosphere. They’ve done a good job with the court setups, the graphics, and even the digital fans, however, it isn’t a real game atmosphere.

What this means is that although they have done everything to make them feel like they are in a regular scenario as well as the fact that they have done a lot to make us feel like we are watching regular games, for the players, it’s anything but regular. This isn’t necessarily a bad thing though.

What is absolutely true and real of the postseason and late regular season basketball is the pressure that comes with having to perform at the highest level, against the absolute best competition, in front of thousands of ravaging fans, be they for or against you. That’s a huge difference.

That can’t be manufactured and it should have an impact moving forward. Role players or guys that haven’t experienced a typical normal playoff atmosphere will perform way better here in this controlled environment than they would in a regular one.

It’s just a fact of human nature. That’s the environment though, something every team has access to or can take benefit from, but this next thing is only of certain teams and especially the Miami Heat.

The Miami Heat are as multiple as any team in the league when it comes to their scoring. This could mean a ton of different things, depending on the context and it could definitely apply to the Heat in multiple contexts, but in this one we mean as far as who scores the points.

You know the pecking order goes Jimmy Butler, Bam Adebayo, Goran Dragic, Duncan Robinson, but after them, the punch could come from a myriad of places. Whether it be Jae Crowder, Kendrick Nunn, Tyler Herro, Kelly Olynyk, Andre Iguodala, or someone else, this Miami Heat team has quite a few guys who can hurt you in a big moment.

That’s apart of what makes this team so dangerous. Quite literally anybody on this team can break you, which is only a great thing for the Miami Heat.

Next. Suspension was the offseason-like hiatus these guys needed. dark

It allows them to be able to do more with everybody, while also not allowing the defense to key in too much on one thing or person. Ah, what a great feeling it is. That’s why the Miami Heat are and will continue to be a tough out for anybody on any given night.
