The Miami Heat have a Kendrick Nunn problem rolling into playoffs.

Aside from Derrick Jones Jr’s health and availability, the Miami Heat’s second-largest question lies at point guard and Kendrick Nunn. The Rookie of the Year finalist has really struggled to find his shot since touching down in Orlando, Florida.

In the five seeding games Nunn was available, he posted just 10.8 points on 31 percent shooting from the field, and just 20 percent shooting from behind the arc. Not great numbers from your season-long starting point guard, especially right before playoffs.

Each of Nunn’s shots has been short, bricks, or flat out airballs. Whether it’s a health issue or just lack of confidence, head coach Erik Spoelstra and his staff need to work the point guard through it.

Until then, expect somewhat of a carousel at starting point guard. We saw Spoelstra run three different guys out in that role over the eight seeding games alone. First, it was Tyler Hero, who played pretty well, and then it was veteran Goran Dragic, who also impressed.

Nunn’s struggles won’t hinder the Heat entirely as a contender, but for him to return to form would make them an even larger threat in the Eastern Conference.
