The Miami Heat were off on Wednesday, but those teams among the NBA that weren’t decided to make a statement by actively taking the day off and with a purpose. In the wake of the horrible, devastating, and senseless shooting of Jacob Blake in Kenosha, Wisconsin at the hands of the police, NBA players decided that they have officially had enough.
Again although off on Wednesday, the Miami Heat did make a statement. This goes as a whole franchise from each individual part, the players, and others associated with the organization.
While that was a bit on those currently with, apart of, or associated with the Miami Heat, there is a guy that used to be with the Miami Heat who has found himself in a very interesting place among the whole situation. That man is none other than current Los Angles Laker, former Miami Heat champion, and All-Time NBA great, LeBron James.

In an April report that originated from CNBC’s Jabari Young, it was mentioned that some NBA officials and associates were frowning on resuming the season that has since resumed. The above tweet was essentially LeBron’s response to those reports.
