The Miami Heat are set to face the Milwaukee Bucks in the second round of the NBA playoffs. Twitter thinks the Heat will win in six games… or does it?

The Miami Heat and their second-round matchup are finally set. After being off since Monday themselves, handling their business over Indiana in just four games and an extra few days with the NBA player strike, Jimmy Butler and the Miami Heat now know who they will face.

With the Milwaukee Bucks taking care of the Orlando Magic, once and for all, it will be a Bucks-Heat clash in the semi-finals round. Oh, what a sight it will be to behold.

Most of us are aware of this by now but for those who aren’t, the Miami Heat beat the Bucks twice in the regular season before the suspension of the original season, while they should have beaten them a third time after being up 20 points in a bubble seeding game.

Yea… yea, we know. Some people say that when it comes to the playoffs, that the regular season records don’t matter and in this case specifically, ESPN broadcaster Jeff Van Gundy thinks that there needs to be a certain “context” placed around those victories by the Heat in the regular season.

This is my response to what JVG had to say there.

Either way though, regardless of any of our opinions, and while we were on the good ole Twitter machine, there was something else interesting of note taking place as the Miami Heat and the rest of the world learned who their opponents would be.

The Miami Heat will face the Milwaukee Bucks in round two of the playoffs. Who will win the heated matchup though?

For some reason, “Miami Heat in 6” was trending Saturday evening on the social media machine. While we saw it with our own eyes, if you don’t believe us, here is a user who captured a screenshot of the occurrence for proof.

He asked a good question though, in that, are the Miami Heat the “most hyped” fifth seed in NBA history? The answer is no and though there was a mistake made, it isn’t too much hype.

They have been undervalued and underrated all season for how good they really are, but we already knew that. Didn’t we?

Here’s the next thing. This could go either way, the trending thing.

It could actually be the case that so many users feel that way that it began to trend, but it could also be the opposite. It could be that the hot take of “Heat in 6” is drawing so much attention that the responses are also contributing to the trend.

It doesn’t matter though. Whether it be in four, five, six, or seven games, the Miami Heat have just as good a shot to win this series as the Bucks do, if not a better one.

The series starts on Monday, the 31st of August. Like everyone else out there, we can’t wait to see it.
