As the Miami Heat prepare to take on the Boston Celtics in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Finals, a look at three things to watch for.

It wasn’t easy, but the Miami Heat pulled out a victory over the Boston Celtics in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference, and in overtime, I might add. Now, the two teams will prepare to continue on in Game 2, which is scheduled for Thursday night at 7:00 pm EST.

It’s as close a match as we’ve seen in these playoffs, even more so than the four series that we’ve seen go to Game 7. Between Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown, and Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo, both the Celtics and Heat are equipped with All-Star talents on both ends of the ball.

All four of the featured players made their presence known, with the two duos combining for 47 (Tatum and Brown), and 38 (Butler and Adebayo) points. Miami’s two All-Stars were particularly clutch in the fourth quarter and overtime, ultimately earning their team the win in Game 1.

Then there are the top-tier head coaches leading each squad, between Miami’s Erik Spoelstra and Boston’s Brad Stevens. This matchup in its whole could go seven games and to either team.
