The Miami Heat found a way to take Game 2 away from the Boston Celtics to take a 2-0 lead in their Eastern Conference Finals Series.

The Miami Heat pulled out another one! Can you believe it?

Well, we can. It’s, kind of, the Miami Heat way. Well, not really, but that’s just it.

The Miami Heat are almost used to doing things the hard way, as Jimmy Butler alluded to in his post-game chat immediately after the game. That’s where we will start here.

The Bad

The Miami Heat have managed to dig themselves a hole to start both games of this  Eastern Conference Finals series. They cannot continue to do that, needing to pull back out of a deep hole as the game progresses in order to get the victory in each.

Eventually, it will start to bite them. We all know how these things go, they are subject to the snowball effect.

Once it finally happens once, where they can’t overcome the early lulls, it will just continue to happen. That’s The bad from Game 2, something the Miami Heat must really avoid moving forward in this series, and hopefully beyond in the NBA Finals.

The Miami Heat are up 2-0 in the Conference Finals, but their latest win comes with good and bad.

The Good

Just like The Bad, the good is also subject to the snowball effect. Although the Miami Heat have found themselves with big deficits to overcome in this series and the last, they have managed to overcome the large majority of them.

They have shown an iron fortitude that allows them to go through these bouts of poor offense, defense, or overall execution and still be able to pull the game out.

No matter what it may end up taking to win the game, the Miami Heat have shown the ability to be able to pull it out of themselves and do enough of it to conquer the opponent. Again, you don’t want to continue to make a living of this, but the Miami Heat have proven that almost no mountain is to steep for them to climb.

The Miami Heat will get a day before they are tasked with doing it all over again. If Games 1 and 2 are any indication, we should be in for a doozie of a Game 3 as well.

We can’t wait. This though, has been the good and the bad from Game 2.
