The Miami Heat will once again look to eliminate the Boston Celtics in Game 6 on Sunday night. A look at three things to watch ahead of the matchup.

When the Miami Heat took a three to one series lead over the Boston Celtics after Game 4, they surely didn’t think they’d be here: walking into a Game 6 on Sunday night. But here they are, after giving up a first-half lead in Game 5, allowing their opponent to climb back into this series.

Game 6 has become a must-win scenario for the Heat on Sunday. To allow this Celtics team two straight wins and a Game 7 appearance has to be completely off of the table. Boston has proven that they can (at their best) go toe-to-toe with this Miami team in this series.

Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown have been every bit the All-Stars we expect them to be. Daniel Theis has done a better job in this matchup than Heat fans would like to admit. And while it may not be the Kemba Walker fans expected, the point guard has answered when called upon.

Miami isn’t being outplayed, at least by Boston. If anything they’re outplaying themselves. Shots aren’t falling, there have been some sloppy defensive efforts in crucial moments, and turnovers have become a legitimate concern over the last two games against the Celtics.

Still, anytime you’re walking into a must-win game with Jimmy Butler leading the charge, you’re not going to be discouraged. His and Goran Dragic‘s play inside these playoffs still gives you the best chance to win, no matter what point of the series or situation.
