The Miami Heat and the Lakers have something in common, Dion Waiters. Eligible for a ring from Miami, if the Heat so chooses, here’s why they should.

The Miami Heat are all set for the NBA Finals on Wednesday. Facing off against LeBron James, Anthony Davis, and the Los Angeles Lakers, there are tons of storylines and narratives to sink our teeth into.

LeBron James isn’t the only player that is familiar with the Miami Heat though for the Lakers. It’s actually pretty ironic, because that player is also a huge part of what has us curious today.

The fact of the matter is this. In the case of Dion Waiters, he is eligible to receive a championship ring from either side that wins the title, of course with the Heat having the option to extend him that courtesy or not.

I know that a lot of you are saying right now. “He got his own self shipped out, so why?”

My response is this. You would be right.

However, there are more layers to the story that must be peeled back in order to get the best answer. The best answer isn’t one that highlights his negatives.

The best answer is one that encompasses all of his time in Miami. That’s what brought me to this opinion.

Here goes nothing. Take it easy on me please.

For me, I believe that Dion should get a ring. Here are the three reasons why.
