The Miami Heat are only down one game in the NBA Finals following a miraculous Jimmy Butler showing. Is the ‘Heat’ back on the Lakers?
This Miami Heat team is something different. A 2006 Finals Flashbacks anyone?
Maybe it’s too soon to be saying that, but at the same time, maybe it’s not. The Miami Heat won their first game of the NBA Finals on Sunday night and it was led by the big man on the bubble campus, Jimmy Butler.
He had a huge Game 3 triple-double of 40 points, 11 rebounds, and 13 assists in 45 minutes of play. He was a major contributor to the reason, if not the sole reason, that the Heat won.
It wasn’t just Jimmy though. Jae Crowder had 12 points and eight rebounds, Duncan Robinson had a nice game as well with 13 points and 5 rebounds, while Kelly Olynyk also had 17 points and seven assists.
One of the “Baby GOATs” in Tyler Herro had 17 points and three rebounds. The other in Kendrick Nunn gave the Miami Heat some great minutes, action, and playmaking as well, although he only finished with four points, two assists, and a rebound.
The game that we witnessed last night was the Miami Heat basketball that we are accustomed to watching. It was unified, it was electrifying, it was remarkable, and it was spectacular.
