The Miami Heat’s season is done, but that means that the offseason begins! Here are our final season grades and recap for Jimmy Butler.

The Miami Heat got all of the meat off the bone this season when it comes to Jimmy Butler. Coming over during the last offseason, we all knew that he fits this team and organization like a glove, but no one could have expected them to mesh like this.

Well, they did and it took the Miami Heat all the way to the NBA Finals. They weren’t able to get the ultimate job done, but the ride was a fun one.

From the time Jimmy Butler arrived in Miami until now, he has been an example of excellence. He has started work early and left work late.

He has been a leader to the team and an example to the younger players that play with him. He has shown his heart and passion in the locker room for all we know, after games in the press conferences, and definitely on the court.

He wasn’t knock down or lights out from the perimeter by any means this season, but he found ways to contribute offensively that were just as or more valuable than those points would have been.

Without a true main ballhandler on the team, everyone took turns orchestrating the offense and that included Jimmy Butler. Although there are other guys on the team to take the shot if it was a perimeter shot, Jimmy Butler was always involved in the action.
