Kelly Olynyk will return to the Miami Heat on a player option of over $12 million dollars. Here are three adjustments the sharpshooting big man can make.

The Miami Heat’s incredible season is long over and maintaining the level of play they displayed this year moving forward is now the focus. As was the case during the 2019-20 season, every player will be asked to do his part.

That includes Kelly Olynyk, who currently is slated to be the third highest-paid player on the Miami Heat this coming season. Part of that is due to the savvy roster construction of the Heat, but part of it is also because he is expected to play a significant role on this team.

At 29 years old, no one is expecting Olynyk to reinvent his game. His game though is what makes him such a key piece to the most recent Miami Heat run, while he will hopefully be apart of another run next season.

With that in mind, here are three things he can add to his arsenal or work on improving, which would make the Heat a better team moving forward.
