Miami Heat: With one choice of any FA, it would be DeMarcus Cousins

If the Miami Heat lands a partially back Boogie, that’s a plus, but if he’s anywhere near being completely back, it’s a homerun no-brainer.

If he is fully back, he’s still a star. With the Miami Heat, their system, conditioning, and with the team around him if he were to land in South Beach, he could actually ascend back into superstardom.

That’s a fact. Winning cures a lot of things, even a bad reputation.

The Miami Heat also need a big man that they can count on to deter easy baskets at the rim, while also being able to free Bam up to help the team in other areas. There is also this.

Boogie is just as skilled and versatile as any big man, so while he may not be the complete defender that Bam is, Bam doesn’t necessarily have his skills on the offensive end. They would compliment each other so well, as both of them would be pretty much interchangeable at any spot on the floor.

You also have to account for the fact of fatigue or more dastardly, injury, such as that in the NBA Finals. We have all heard about the asterisk comment by now, which I still contend is more about inappropriate headlines than actuality.

That was about the Miami Heat injury bug and the fact that it’s an asterisk for them, as in they know they would have been better if they had more luck with health. Boogie would give you another insurance policy there, providing he isn’t the one getting injured.
