The Miami Heat own the 20th pick in this upcoming NBA Draft. Here is a guy in DePaul’s Paul Reed that the Heat should take a look at.

As the NBA draft is getting closer and closer, there is still speculation on what the Miami Heat will do with their pick at 20. Will Miami look to use that pick in a trade to acquire a “win now” type of player or select someone in the draft that could potentially help them right now and in the future?

It is something that the Miami Heat have to think about. If Miami were to use the pick themselves, then I have a name in mind. They should take a look at DePaul’s Junior forward, Paul Reed.

Reed is a bit of a raw prospect but with Miami’s strength, conditioning, and developmental programs being among the best in the league, Reed would be in good hands. This goes as well when it comes to Miami’s coaching staff.

Most notably, shooting coach Rob Fodor could do wonders towards improving Reed’s shooting mechanics. Let’s look at some more details on the forward from DePaul from his 2019-20 season.
