The Miami Heat have a few guys that they don’t mind having the ball in the hands of. Goran Dragic is one of those guys.

One Of The Only Trusted Ball Handlers On The Roster

The Miami Heat don’t have a ton of options when it comes to lead ball handlers. Yea, they have a ton of guys who can actually get the ball up the court, but only a few who can get the Miami Heat into their stuff or create for himself and others.

Goran Dragic is one of those guys. By all indicators, the Miami Heat will either bring in a guard or draft one, but that doesn’t mean that they will be ready right away or even as effective as Goran is.

While the two previously mentioned points are reasons to have him around regardless, it’s also nice to have him as insurance in case you need a guy to run your offense. Look, he’s going to play off the bench for most of the regular season, but as indicated across his playoff performance, he can still be one of the guys for your team in the postseason.

Goran Dragic not only had one of his best seasons in a Heat uniform this past season but one of his best years overall throughout his career. You can’t let him walk now and especially when he was such a colossal part of what they were able to get accomplished this year.

Nevermind the chemistry and comradery he’s built with his teammates and with one of his fellow co-stars, his brate or “brother”, Jimmy Butler. Along with the rest, these are the reasons why the Miami Heat must re-sign Goran Dragic.
