The Miami Heat should do all that they can to improve, but not at the cost of practically risking it all.

And that’s not a bad plan!

It’s honestly anything better than what the Knicks are going to throw out to potential free agents. “Hey, come play with (checks notes) R.J. Barrett, while letting Tom Thibodeau run you into the ground during pointless regular-season games”.

I’d much rather play in New Orleans with Zion. There’s also that thing about being “ran into the ground” that might not sit well either.

We all touch on this in something that we have planned for you guys a bit later down the road, but to give you a sneak peek of my take, I simply would not include Tyler Herro in any deal involving Jrue Holiday.

As good as Jrue is, Herro was starting in the Finals at 20 years old!

That’s incredible and you can’t trade one of the few young stars who really look like they have a bright future. Unless you’re trading for a legitimate superstar, you can’t trade Herro.

Trading Duncan Robinson would honestly hurt my feelings. Not only because he’s a vital part of the offense, but because I love his story, and he really embodies what we mean by Heat Culture.

If it were all on the line…I would include Duncan in the deal to get it done, but I wouldn’t be happy about it. It isn’t necessarily the right price either, but it’s probably necessarily the necessary price to pique New Orleans’ interest.
