The Miami Heat have been linked to Jrue Holiday for better than a year now. With a chance to land him now, here are 3 reasons not to.

The Miam Heat are in a very familiar place. They are the subjects of swirling trade winds and rumors surrounding New Orleans combo guard, Jrue Holiday.

Stop me when you’ve heard this story before. Well, not actually, as I wouldn’t have ever had the chance to begin.

The Miami Heat seem to once again be on the hunt for an impact guy to add to their talented roster, in the form of a proven commodity. With New Orleans sure to try and maximize what they get back for their star combo-guard, it brings about a few questions for the team trying to make the deal.

Here’s one question that was highlighted by the South Florida Sun Sentinel’s Ira Winderman. It was a response to the following Tweet from The Athletic’s Shams Charania.

"Have addressed this before as a very good fit for the Heat. And, yes, even if it would possibly mean putting Herro in play. Heat are in a seize-the-moment moment."

You have asked most of them already, but we still don’t have clear answers. With that in mind, here are three reasons to not trade for Jrue Holiday.
