The Miami Heat have a choice to make at 20 in the upcoming NBA Draft. There is a guy who has upside and fills a need.

Now, remember Pat Riley and Heat management always find success with their draft picks.  They managed to turn two top 15 picks (Bam Adebayo and Tyler Herro) into an NBA All-Star in just his third year and an All-Rookie second-teamer who dominated the Boston Celtics in the Conference Finals.

That is incredible. Even for Pat Riley, I mean, incredible.

Whether their immediate need might turn attention to a guard or a forward, this is the name on the board that could possibly become a strong candidate for Miami.

Yes, I know, this is somewhat of a long shot but just hear me out in case he, in fact, does slide down the draft list.  Jalen Smith has the immense power needed to provide rest time for Bam Adebayo.

He is currently predicted to land in the top 15, but if Miami finds a trade from 20 to 15 or even finds Smith in their current draft selection, I think he has the quick power to cause havoc down the post.
