The Miami Heat are on the precipice of what seems like a major move to improve their roster. Should the Indiana Pacers and Victor Oladipo be on the other end?

Most famously, Victor Oladipo was a part of the trade that sent Indiana Pacer All-Star Paul George to the Thunder. From there, it seemed like Victor’s career would be that of a journeyman, traveling from team to team.

Then, his breakout year happened. We then found out how Oladipo changed his whole body during the summer, which catapulted him to a take-off in Indiana.

In 2019 though, Oladipo broke his leg in a game against the Raptors and his career once again shifted. Since that injury, the Pacer guard has not yet rediscovered that All-Star caliber form.

He’d go on to play in the NBA Bubble, but it was clear that Victor was not ready yet for a full workload. Now, Indiana is again at a crossroads and with rumors of Oladipo wanting out, is it time to once again consider trading Dipo?

Enter Miami.

It’s no secret that Pat Riley would be interested in acquiring Victor Oladipo but the question, rather than if they can, is if the Miami Heat and Pat Riley should trade for the Indiana All-Star? My answer is no and here are three reasons why.
