The Miami Heat can turn their attention to a guard come Draft night and look to take a low-risk high reward gamble on Arizona’s Josh Green.

What if the Miami Heat have a predetermined plan moving ahead and will focus on a big, either forward or center, in free agency? The likes of a Serge Ibaka, Paul Millsap, and/or Danilo Gallinari are possible fillers that will definitely address their interior issues.

All things considered, they could manage to keep trade chips in Tyler Herro and Duncan Robinson, while running it back with their only additions being in free agency and the NBA draft.

Now before Miami starts exploring those possibilities Friday in free agency, the NBA draft comes first and with the 20th pick, they can shift their attention to another position that can add value to the secondary unit.

The Heat then can explore a possible lineup with three guards leading the way. Tyler Herro is obviously one of those guards.

While Goran Dragic has flirted with the possibility of leaving Miami, I can’t see the Miami Heat brass just letting him walk that easily.

With those two, along with any other possible combination of Miami Heat guards in play, there is one prospect in particular that fits well.

That third guard? Well, we have an idea.

His name is Josh Green. He’s a shooting guard from Arizona.
