The Miami Heat got a good one with the 20th pick. Let’s look a bit closer at Precious Achiuwa and how he might look with the Heat.

The Miami Heat made one heck of a draft pick at 20 on Wednesday. All I needed to see was the guy’s Twitter bio.

It reads the following. “Only the violent will survive”.

That’s what Precious Achiuwa’s Twitter bio says and as a Miami Heat fan, you have to love that quote. Most importantly, if Pat Riley saw that quote, you know he loved it.

Achiuwa was projected in mock drafts to be selected around ten to fifteen, so for Miami to get Achiuwa at twenty was a steal. That’s the only way you can label it.

Achiuwa is a great fit for Miami. He checks all the boxes for what the Miami Heat look for in a player.

With a 7’2″ wingspan, he can protect the rim, while he also has non-stop energy on both ends. Achiuwa is a very annoying player to go against as well as an offensive player.

With his non-stop motor, guys like him are again, very annoying to go against. Plus, going against a player who is always boxing out and putting a body on you is annoying as well.
