The Miami Heat couldn’t’ get past LeBron James and his Lakers in the NBA Finals. Well, he’s at least around for the next three years now.

The Miami Heat know what it’s like to have LeBron James in tow. They know what it’s like to be the hunted.

They now know what it’s like to face that guy as the opposition with the hardware on the line too. That’s not an ideal position for anyone to be in, as the man is a wrecking ball when he’s on a mission.

He cries a lot too, which is something that you don’t realize unless you are rooting against him, but still, he’s the very best doing it today. Well, we are all in bad luck, as the man just re-upped his contract with the Los Angeles Lakers.

Scheduled to come off of their books after next season via a player option, after 2021-22, he just signed a two-year maximum extension with the Los Angles Lakers. That now puts him coming off the books after the 2022-23 season when he’ll be 37 years old.

Former Miami Heat champion, LeBron James, just signed a two-year extension. That puts him on the books for three more years after this upcoming season.

I believe he will still be among the best, if not the best in the league when that time comes. He really must be vying hard to play with his son, if his son is so fortunate enough to make it to this level by then or at all.

What it also screams is that we’re are all going to have to deal with him for at least three more seasons. Hooray (please detect the sarcasm).

The guy is a legend, an all-time great, and a headache for any team thinking that they will win an NBA Title. Believe me, we know.

We know from both sides. He led us to win titles here in Miami, but he was the main thing that kept us from winning a title last season.

He giveth. But he also taketh away.

Next. Should Tyler Herro Be A Starter?. dark

Good for him. Great for the Lakers and their fans.

However, it’s all bad for us and fans of other teams around the league. Unfortunately, the King still reigns supreme and it appears he’ll be doing that for at least the next two years after this season.
