The Miami Heat are a deep and versatile team coming into the season. Who will lead them in each statistical category though?

The Miami Heat are a team that has prided themselves on a few things over the last few seasons. They have wanted to play with a ton of movement, ball and man movement actions, while also doing whatever it takes to keep the defense off-balanced in the process.

They have also wanted to be multiple from every aspect, including personnel, position versatility, skill versatility, and how they go about winning games overall. That has oftentimes led to some pretty impressive stat lines throughout the year for different guys on the roster.

While there wasn’t much variation last season, as far as who led the team in which categories at the end of the season, this season presents an opportunity for a bit of variability. For instance, Jimmy Butler led the team last year in points, assists, and steals, while Bam Adebayo led them in both rebounds and blocks.

This season’s roster, with a couple of fresh pieces of talent when you include KZ Okpala along with Precious Achiuwa, could provide an opportunity to see some other guys step up to lead some of these categories.

Or could it?

We don’t know yet, but that’s just what we are here to discuss. Let’s get into who might lead the Miami Heat in seven specific statistical categories or metrics.
