The Miami Heat gave Bam Adebayo the big deal that he deserved. Now, can he somehow find a way to totally live up to the gigantic deal?

The Miami Heat had to get Bam Adebayo signed. With the running thought being that they would kick the can down the road as far as they could for a deal with Bam, preferably until after this upcoming season to maintain maximum flexibility by all accounts, they went ahead and got it done.

Signed to a deal worth at least $163 million, escalators in the pact means that he could have the chance to make as much as $195.6 million across the lifetime of it. That would take him hitting some of those escalator marks, typically All-Star and/or All-NBA appearances.

While I am fully confident that Bam will hit each and every one of the stipulations in his deal that he takes for him to earn the maximum amount, he will still be worth every penny even if he doesn’t. By now, you can probably tell that I think he was worth the deal, escalating potential price included.

How so was he worth it though? That seems to be the question.

Well, you’re in luck. Here are the three most important reasons why I believe Bam Adebayo can live up to his deal.
